GETTING HERE AND AROUND

FLY

If flying from outside of Uganda the easiest and cheapest route is to Entebbe International  Airport (EBB) located 5 kilometers from Entebbe Town, south of Kampala City.

Entebbe International Airport is located 40 km from HBT Russel Hotel Kampala. Airport taxi will cost anywhere between USD 40-50 depending on how much luggage and whether you walk to the highway outside the airport - sometimes this way you can get it as low as USD 30 per way.

GETTING AROUND

Kampala is a relatively small city and easily accessible. Minibus taxi, offer the cheapest mode of transport.

Taxi hire service area available in whole Kampala and are able to pick you up and drop you off directly at HBT Russell Hotel. If you already have an Uber mobile application, you can order for taxi hire services anywhere in Kampala.

Car rental services in Kampala and to other Uganda towns and cities is also possible and we can assist you here as well. Contact the frontdesk team for assistance.

Motorcycles or boda bodas, as they are locally known, can always be used for short distances. Hire is a great option for those wanting total freedom, ideal for youngsters, and can be arranged through us. If you know you definitely want a motorbike/boda boda then feel free to let us know in advance so we can have one here when you arrive.
